Summary
Begin this relaxing sojourn in Bangkok, then spend a couple of nights on a jungle river, near the famous Bridge Over the River Kwai. Night Train to Chiang Mai, for several days of local highlights, alongside structured Hatha yoga, herbal steam therapy, and massages, and then return to Bangkok. As promised, here are my thoughts on the trip……. All in all, it was great - exactly what we needed: relaxing and extremely slow-paced, with time to contemplate. The guides were absolutely fantastic, and the travel arrangements had no glitches, and we were able to find vegetarian food in most places, which is more than we could ask for.
