Vietnam Hotels >> Hotels in Ho Chi Minh City :> Majestic Hotel 1/Hotel Overview The six-storey French colonial styled Majetic Hotel is conveniently located at the bottom of Dong Khoi Street, overlooking the Saigon River. It is within an easy walking distance to the city's main tourist attractions, commercial and shopping addresses. Built in 1925 on the corner of Rue Catinat (now Dong Khoi Street), Majestic Hotels comprised of 4 stories and 44 guest rooms with French colonial style. In 1968, two more stories were developed, added one international conference hall, one restaurant and some guest rooms to the original. And in 2003, a new wing was melded into the existing building with 54 rooms, Spa, Serenade Restaurant, Bellevue Bar, Catinate lounge. Majestic Hotel today is a 175 room hotel with its old charm of French colonial architecture.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable. All are well decorated and appointed with high ceilings, original wood floors, and period wooden furniture. Bathrooms are floor-to-ceiling granite and glass-standing shower. Majestic suites have large Jacuzzis. Majestic Hotel has two restaurants. Cyclo Café at ground floor features international buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Serenade Restaurant at top floors offers a wide range of Western dishes. 2/Room Amenities
