1/Hotel Overview
The four-storey Army hotel is located on a quiet street near the Opera House and the History Museum. It is around a five-minute walk to Hoan Kiem Lake. Built around 1960 and renovated latest in 2002, Army hotel owned by the Vietnamese military – thus the name— is the only three-star hotel in downtown Hanoi with a swimming pool.

Army hotel has 69 guest rooms and Suites; most are large and clean, with tile floors and nice-size bathrooms with a tub/shower combo. Each room has a balcony, some with direct pool access.

The restaurant at the hotel is quite small with not much menu to offer, but there are many delight restaurants are walking distance.
