Built in 1922 and restored in 1995, Sofitel Dalat Palace Hotel is situated in a private 5 hectare park in the heart of Dalat City. The Sofitel Dalat Palace is one of the finest hotels in all of Indochina. It was the choice of French colonists on holiday and once the home of Emperor Bao Dai.

The hotel has 38 guest rooms and 5 suites. The interior décor is the mixture of a French country château style with the essence of Southeast Asia. You'll find here around 2,000 reproduction European art and sculptures. All rooms are larger than average with shiny wooden floors, handmade carpets and rugs, genuine antique French clocks, and original brass and bakelite telephone handsets. Bathrooms feature antique-style fixtures with hand-painted tiles and large claw-foot bathtubs. Dalat owns a year-round average temperature of 18C, so every room of the Sofitel Dalat Palace has a huge fireplace and no air conditioner.

There is no swimming pool at the Sofitel Dalat Palace but the hotel offers tennis courts and mountain bikes for your activities instead. A few miniutes of shuttle bus ride is the hotel's superb 18-hole, par 72 golf course.

Sofitel Dalat Palace offers refined French cuisine and wine with the latest in fusion dishes from around the world.
