Empress Hotel is situated on a hillside overlooking Xuan Huong Lake. The hotel offers wonderful views across the water to the Dalat Palace Hotel.

The Empress has 19 rooms and suites in Mediterranean villa style. Most have good views of the lake. Rooms are a big surprise with dark wood walls, terra-cotta tile floors, rattan furniture, nice local artwork, and good indirect lighting system.

Bathrooms are large with nice fixtures and granite counters. Suites are impressive with sunken baths and Jacuzzi.
