1/Hotel Overview
La Residence hotel is located on the bank of the Perfume River in the centre of Hue. It looks over the Perfume River and just a few minutes walk from the railway station. Originally the Governor's residence, it has been restored and converted into Vietnam's newest boutique hotel in French colonial architectural style.

The La Residence consists of the two wings. The original villa includes reception area, an adjacent bar with deep club chairs, and eight rooms plus a presidential suite. These rooms have colonial feel with ceiling fans and darkstained wood furnishings. An additional 112 rooms are in the new wings. All have a private balcony or terrace.

The hotel main restaurant La Parfum features Vietnamese, Asian and international cuines that are fatastic and good value. La Governor lobby bar serves cocktails and drinks with light snacks – the hotel's pool bar overlooking the Perfume River and ancient Citadel also offers a simlar range.
