Hi Van

Thanks for reminding me.  Here are some comments from our trip.

Our driver (Wan?) was great.  Quite speedy, punctual and friendly.  The minivan was always clean and really nice to have the extra room.

Trang was lovely, flexible and extremely knowledgeable.  He spoke English very well although we did struggle a little with his pronunciation sometimes!  I loved the little extra stops he did to show us how rice grew and rubber was collected.

Trips:

Ho Chi Minh - This gave us a good insight to the city although we cut it a little short as the kids were feeling their early start.  The War Remnants Museum was particularly moving.

Cu Chi Tunnels/Cao Dai - Fantastic.  Trang did an excellent job explaining the set up and the kids did lots of exploring.

Mekong Delta - I think it is difficult to do this properly in one day.  We felt that while the trip around the island seeing all the local produce was interesting it would have been nice to spend a little more time on the water seeing life along the Mekong.

Lunches - these were all great and got us trying foods we may not have otherwise tried.

Hotels:

The Grand Hotel - Apart from the original mix up with the room it worked out very well.  There was some building work going on but it didn't really disturb us.  The pool was perfect for the kids and there was plenty of character in the older part of the hotel.

Coco Beach Resort - Fantastic place to stay.  Very family friendly with excellent service and food.  We ended up in a 2 bedroom villa right on the beach front (No 26/27) which was the same price as booking 2 single bungalows.  There was plenty of room for us all and the children's room could have slept 3.

Just one point to note transferring to Mui Ne:  It took us 4.5 hours to get there, including a stop, leaving at 7am.  On the way back, Trang advised us to leave longer for a Saturday afternoon journey and the traffic certainly was bad.  It took us nearer 5.5 hours.

Visa - I wasn't sure what advantage we had already having the paperwork as we still had to go through the process of filling out all the forms.  It seemed as though it was was possible to apply on arrival.  Is this right?

All in all we had a great trip, Van, and I would be happy to recommend your service.

Hi Van, 

The overall tour was great and what I really wanted to do well almost the floating market was a big deal for me. Nonetheless we had a great time Ben his knowledge and expertise got us through the Mekong without any problems and very smooth operation.  The thing about being  on the cruise ship you don’t get a lot of time to experience everything but you try and get a taste of the parts you see as much as you can in the allotted time you have.  With this itinerary it was everything we wanted to see and do for the time permitted.  The van was exceptionally nice clean and comfortable. Your driver was very courteous and kind and also was attentive at the wheel and got us to and from the location with any problems besides the local traffic which is always a problem I am sure.

This tour was a great and the bike ride at the end was a nice break to get out of the boat and van and stretch your legs. All of my friends loved the tour and would do it again in a heart beat.  I will highly recommend you if I am ever asked to do a tour in Vietnam.

Thanks for your email. 

We were very happy with the cruise and the private transfer.  Your  kind asistance is most appreciated.  If we have any friends going to Hanoi we will cettainly recommend your service.

We had a safe flight back to Singapore on 1 Oct to see my sister who is still in the hospital.  She is doing better now. 

We will return to New Zealand on 13th Dec after visiting our daughter in USA.

Hello Huong,

First your service was very good. Every think was well arranged.  The only comment  we can say  is that we are 100 %  satisfied.

Very nice English speaking guides.  Hotels very good etc.

One little comment about Dalat, this is a very nice hotel with quit a big room nice garden but they have bad beds.

That was a pity. For only one night it was oke.
The guides/drivers  were always on time, never 1 minute too late. (always 15 min before as agreed, super !!!!)

Huong we can only say thank you.

About Vietnam. It is a nice country with very good food nice weather, very nice people and a lot of scooters
Very impressive underground tunnels located in the Cu Chi district. We like it all.
Thanks for everything. Because of you our holiday in Vietnam was a big success.
